We successfully represented a large-scale multinational defense and IT company against a Turkish technology and manufacturing company in an ICC arbitration, in which the counterparty accepted the claims of our client and duly paid the claimed amount before the tribunal rendered an award. We continue to act as counsel for that company in several litigations and provide them with legal advice since 2009. Our experience in ICC cases includes the representation of international clients who have investments in Turkey, as well as abroad. We were appointed to represent several Turkish construction companies in the ICC cases relating to the realization of PPP projects or other private contracts.
We also provided legal services to several international law offices who represented their clients before ICSID tribunals in disputes arising from the latter’s investments in Turkey. In particular, we advised them on Turkish law relating to the investments at issue as well as the relevant bilateral investment treaties signed between Turkey and other States.
